Wheat Ada | Gothambu Ada
It is a healthy and easy evening time snack. The sugar level
can be adjusted as per your taste. You
can use powdered jaggery as a substitute for sugar.
Ingredients :
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Salt as needed
Sugar – ¼ cup
Grated coconut – ½ cup
Water and a few oil
Method
- - Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl
- - Add in water gradually to make a thick batter
- - Spread a handful of batter in hot tawa
- - Cook in low medium flame
- - When the moisture get evaporated from the top drizzle some oil
- - Flip it and cook that side also
- - Again drizzle some oil and turn it again
- - Cook it till golden spots appear on both sides
- - Remove from pan and repeat the same with remaining batter
- - Serve the tasty ada with tea
