How To Make Chocolate Bounty Bars At Home



Homemade Bounty Bars

  Ingredients :


  • dessicated coconut - 2 cups
  • peanut butter - 2 tbs (optional)
  • condensed milk - 1/2 cup or as needed
  • dark compound chocolate - 1 cup

  Method


   step 1 : filling


  • mix together coconut, peanut butter and condensed milk
  • shape them into bars
  • keep them in refrigerator for 10 minutes

   step 2 : coating



  • chop the chocolate into small pieces
  • put them into a clean and dry bowl
  • I used double boiler method to melt them
  • boil water in a vessel
  • put the bowl with chocolate on top
  • make sure that the bottom do not touch the water
  • keep stirring 
  • when it is ready switch off the flame and let it cool down for 2 minutes
  • dip the coconut bars into the melted chocolate and coat well with chocolate
  • shake to remove the excess and place them on the tray
  • refrigerate for 20 minutes
  • remove the extra parts from the edges
  • homemade bounty bars are ready

Egg Kabab Recipe | Egg Potato Kebab Recipe



Egg Kebab

  Ingredients :


  • boiled potatoes - 2 medium
  • hard boiled eggs - 4
  • chopped onion - 2 tbs
  • garlic cloves - 3 chopped
  • ginger - a small piece chopped
  • coriander leaves chopped - 1 tbs
  • chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • salt as needed
  • bread crumbs - 4 tbs
  • lemon juice - 1tbs

  Method



  • grate the potatoes and eggs into a bowl
  • add in rest of the ingredients and combine well
  • knead into a soft dough
  • apply some oil on hands and shape them 
  • deep fry/shallow fry until get golden brown colour
  • drain onto snack napkin
  • serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney

Veg Pizza recipe At home Without Oven



Veg Pizza

 Ingredients 

  For pizza base :


  • wheat flour - 1 cup
  • maida / all purpose flour - 1 cup
  • salt - as needed
  • active dry yeast - 1/2 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • olive oil  - 1 tbs

 For topping :



  • pizza sauce - 2 tbs
  • capsicum, onion, olive rings, cheddar cheese , mozzarella cheese, oregano*

  Method


   step 1 : pizza base


  • add yeast and sugar into 1/2 cup of luke warm water and stir well
  • keep aside until frothy ( around 10 - 12 minutes )
  • in a large bowl mix together flour, salt , yeast dissolved water, and olive oil
  • add in warm water little by little and make a sticky dough
  • knead it for 10 minutes 
  • then apply some oil on top and the tuck the dough
  • place it in the greased bowl 
  • cover with a towel or plastic wrap
  • keep in a warm place until double in size

   step 2: preheating the oven



  • if baking in oven, preheat at 200 degree C for 10 minutes
  • if using stove top oven ( kadai or a wide heavy bottomed vessel with salt and ring inside ) preheat on high flame for 10 minutes

   step 3 : assembling pizza



  • press the fermented dough gently and knead slightly
  • divide into two portions ( for making  two 9" pizza)
  • grease and dust the pizza pan
  • place the dough and spread it using both hands
  • create a dent on the edges
  • spread the pizza sauce
  • top with topping

   step 4 : baking



  • if using oven, bake at 200 degree C for 20 minutes
  • if using stove top oven, bake on high flame for 20 minutes
  • when it is ready, allow it to cool for 10 minutes
  • then cut it and enjoy

  Note : 



  • if you don't oregano, use fresh or dried panikoorka leaves for flavouring pizza.

How To Make Pizza Sauce At Home



Pizza Sauce

 Ingredients :


  • riped tomatoes - 6
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves
  • onion - half of one
  • salt as needed
  • pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • tomato sauce - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 1tsp

  Method



  • make slit on tomatoes
  • add into boiling water and cook for 4-5 minutes
  • then remove from water and allow to cool
  • now peel them and grind into a smooth paste
  • heat up 2 tbs olive oil in a pan
  • saute chopped garlic until golden
  • add in chopped onion and saute until change the colour
  • add in the tomato puri and cook on medium flame for 6-7 minutes or until thickened
  • add in salt,pepper powder,oregano,chilly powder and mix well
  • now add in the tomato sauce and sugar
  • finally add butter and mix well
  • pizza sauce is ready now.
  • when it is cool,transfer into a bottle and can be stored in refrigerator up to 1 week.

Easy Tea Cake Recipe Without Oven And Beater



Tea Cake

 Ingredients :


  • wheat flour - 1 + 1/4 cup
  • corn flour - 2 tbs
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • unsalted butter at room temperature - 1/2 cup
  • sugar - 1 cup (powdered)
  • eggs - 3
  • vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 cup

 Method


  step 1 : preheating the oven


  • If you have an electric oven preheat t 180 degree C for 10 minutes
  • If you don't have an oven heat up 1 cup of salt in a heavy bottom vessel with a ring inside, for 10 minutes on medium heat

  step 2 : preparing cake pan



  • grease an 8" pan and line with butter paper

  step 3 : preparing cake batter



  • mix together wheat flour, corn flour, baking powder and salt
  • sift well and keep aside
  • in a separate bowl beat together utter and sugar until creamy and fluffy
  • take 3 eggs in another bowl and beat well until frothy
  • now collect the froth with a spoon and mix in butter-sugar mixture
  • repeat the procedure till the eggs are finished
  • mix in vanilla essence
  • then sift in the flour mixture as 3 batches and fold gently
  • add in 1/2 cup of milk and make a smooth batter
  • pour it in the prepared pan and tap 
  • place in the preheated oven and bake until a toothpick inserted came out clean
  • if you are baking in stovetop oven bake on high flame for the first 5 minutes. then bake on low medium flame for 40 minutes
  • when it is ready take out from oven
  • remove from pan after 10 minutes
  • cut it when it is completely cool
  • enjoy with tea or coffee
  Note

  1. I used wheat flour insted of maida for this cake to make make it more nutritious.

Easy Cheesecake Recipe Without Gelatin | Cake Without Baking



Cheesecake

 Ingredients :


  • biscuit crumbs - 1 cup
  • melted unsalted butter - 1/3 cup
  • sugar - 1/4 + 1/2 cup (for crust & for topping)
  • cream cheese - 2 cups ( at room temperature )
  • vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  • whipping cream - 1 + 1/4 cup

 Method



  • combine biscuit crumbs, butter and 1/4 cup sugar
  • transfer into a spring form pan 7"( or 9")* and spread evenly
  • press with a glass and keep it in refrigerator for 15 minutes
  • take cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl
  • beat well until creamy
  • take whipping cream in a separate bowl and beat until thickened
  • mix in the cream cheese and combine well
  • pour it over the biscuit crust 
  • cover it and refrigerate until set
  • as there is no gelatin it needs to be refrigerated overnight
  • when it is set cut and serve cold 

 Note : 

  1. If you don't have a spring form pan use a sieve with its net for this purpose
  2. I used homemade cream cheese in this recipe. You can use any unsalted cream cheese of your favourite brand

Easy Potato Nuggets Recipe



Potato Nuggets Recipe

 Ingredients :


  • boiled potatoes - 2 
  • bread crumbs - 1/4 cup + 1 cup (for dough and for coating)
  • corn flour - 4 tbs
  • cheddar cheese grated - 2 tbs 
  • garlic cloves - 2 (finely chopped )
  • pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • chilly flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • salt as needed 
  • oil for frying

 Method


  step 1 : making dough


  • grate or mash the boiled potatoes
  • add in 1/4 cup of bread crumbs, 2 tbs corn flour, cheese, pepper powder, chilly flakes, oregano and salt
  • combine well and make a dough
  • refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes 

  step 2 : coating



  • spread 1 cup bread crumbs in a plate
  • add 2 tbs corn flour, 1/4 tsp pepper powder, 1/4 tsp oregano, a little salt and 1/4 cup of water
  • mix well and keep aside
  • apply some oil on the hands and pinch a small portion of dough
  • roll into cyllindrical shape
  • dip in corn flour batter
  • then roll in bread crumbs

  step 3 : frying



  • heat up oil in a frying pan
  • deep fry the nuggets till golden and crisp
  • turn in between
  • fry on medium flame
  • when they are ready drain into snack napkin to remove excess oil
  • serve with tomato sauce or mayonnaise
