The Best Homemade Pasta You'll Ever Eat | How To Make Pasta Without Machine


Homemade Pasta
 Ingredients :
  • whole wheat flour / atta - 1 cup ( 140 g )
  • egg - 1 ( 50 g )
  • water - 3 -4 tbs (45 - 60 ml )
  • olive oil - 1 tbs ( 15 ml )
 Method
  • combine all the ingredients and make a dough
  • knead for 6 - 7 minutes
  • allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes
  • after 30 minutes roll out the dough into a very thin sheet
  • when you lift the dough you should be able to see your hands through it
  • cut the dough sheet into desired shape 
  • I made bow tie pasta ( butterfly shaped pasta ), for that cut the dough into 2 - 3 cm long strips, and press at the centre
 How to cook homemade fresh pasta
  • boil 2 litres of water
  • add 1tsp salt
  • add pasta and cook
  • this homemade pasta doesn't need much time to cook,it will take approx  2 - 3 minutes only
  • when it is done add directly into the sauce and mix well
 How to make sauce for homemade pasta ?
  I made Indian style masala pasta.
Ingredients 
  • onion - 1 (100 g )
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • green chilly - 2
  • tomato -2 medium
  • carrot chopped - 1/4cup
  • capsicum chopped - 1/4 cup
  • coriander leaves - 2 tbs
  • red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • tomato ketchup - 2 tbs
  • red chilly sauce - 1 tsp
  • cheese - 2 - 4 tbs
 Method
  • saute onion until transparent
  • add ginger garlic paste and green chilly
  • saute until the raw smell gone
  • add tomatoes and saute until mushy
  • add carrot and capsicum
  • cover and cook for 1 minutes
  • add chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, oregano, coriander leaves, tomato ketchup and  red chilly sauce 
  • mix well and add cooked pasta
  • add cheese and pasta cooked water ( 1/4 cup )
  • mix well and serve hot
