Butterscotch Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients :
- heavy cream - 1 cup ( for heavy cream recipe : https://youtu.be/fUmqC6vwWoY )
- sweetened condensed milk - 1/2 cup
- butterscotch sauce - 2 tbs (for butterscotch sauce recipe : https://youtu.be/o-bi0dqPWOk )
- praline * - as needed
Method
- beat the cream until get thickened ( do not over - beat the cream )
- add in condensed milk, butterscotch sauce and praline
- beat for 3-4 sec
- pour into a freezer safe container and cover with a tight lid
- place in the freezer for 5 hours
- easy homemade butterscotch ice cream is ready
- while serving garnish with some butterscotch sauce and praline
* How to make praline ?
- add 4 tbs sugar and 1 tbs water in a saucepan
- cook on low medium flame until golden
- it may take around 4 - 5 minutes
- when it got a golden shade, switch off the flame
- add in 2 tbs cashews
- pour the mixture immediately on to a greased foil or plate and allow it to cool completely
- once it is cool, make it a coarse powder
- praline is ready to use
