Ingredients:
- Maida 300g
- Sugar 1 tbs (15g
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Baking soda 3 pinches
- Milk 165 ml (3/4 cup)
- Curd 1 tsp (12g)
- Oil 1 tbs
- Mix together all the ingredients
- Shape into a ball and keep aside for 15 minutes
- After 15 minutes shape it again to make it smooth
- Cover and allow to rest for 2 hours
- After 2 hours divide it into 7 equal parts
- Shape them into smooth balls
- Pour 3 tbs of oil over the balls
- Allow them to rest for 20 minutes
- After 20 minutes roll the balls and make a thin sheet
- Brush some oil and sprinkle some flour
- Stretch from one end to form pleats
- Roll it and allow to rest for 20 minutes
- After 20 minutes of rest roll into circle
- Transfer to hot tawa and cook both sides
- Store in a casserole
- Pile 3 parotta together and compress to separate the layers
- Serve with favorite curry
