ഗോതമ്പ് പൊടി കൊണ്ട് രുചികരമായ പാലപ്പം ഉണ്ടാക്കാം | Wheat Palappam Recipe


Ingredients:
  • Wheat flour 3 1/4 cup (500g)
  • Rice flakes 1 cup (40g)
  • Sugar 3 tbs (45g)
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Instant yeast 1 tsp
  • Grated coconut 1 cup (120g)
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp (optional)
 Method:
  • Grind together soaked rice flakes, sugar, salt, yeast, coconut and cinnamon powder with enough water to a fine paste.
  •  Combine this with wheat flour
  • Add more warm water to make a batter of flowing consistency
  • Grind the batter again to make it smooth
  • Keep the batter in a big vessel and keep in a warm place until fermented ; It may take 2 to 3 hours
  • Once the batter is fermented pour a ladle full of batter to hot appachatti and make appam
  • Serve this soft delicious appam with your favorite curry
