Easy No Knead Dinner Rolls Recipe | How To Make Milk Bun


Milk Bun/Dinner Rolls 

 Even beginer will not have trouble in making these wonderful soft milk bun.

 Ingredients:


  • warm milk - 160 ml
  • active dry yeast - 1/2 tsp
  • sugar - 4 tbs
  • all purpose flour/maida - 2 cups [280g]
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • softened butter - 50g
  • egg - 1


 Method:


 step 1 : preparing dough


  • into the  warm milk add in yeast and 2 tbssugar and mix well
  • let it stand until frothy(5-6 minutes)
  • pour this solution into a large mixing bowl
  • add in the egg,2tbs sugar and butter
  • mix together flour and salt and add this into the yeast solution
  • mix well until incorporated and sticky dough forms
  • transfer this into a greased bowl and cover with a plastic wrap/towel

 step 2 : proofing



  • keep the prepared dough in a warm place until double in size (about 2 hours)

 step 3 : shaping



  • punch the air out
  • turn this onto a lightly floured surface
  • divide dough and shape into balls
  • place the shaped balls in a greased baking dish
  • cover it with a plastic wrap/towel

 step 4 : second proofing



  • keep the shaped balls in a warm place until double in size ( about 45 minutes - 1 hour)

 step 5 : baking



  • brush the balls with beaten egg
  • bake them in a preheated oven at 200 degree C for 15 - 20 minutes
  • once they are done remove from the baking dish after 10 minutes
  • allow them to cool completely
  • super soft milk buns are ready to serve

 Notes :



  • yeast need wram and sweet enviornment to get activated
  • if the yeast is not frothy discard it
  • baking time may vary depending on the oven
