Ingredients:
- Fish 500g
- Ginger a big piece (20g)
- Garlic 5 cloves (10g)
- Green chilli 4 (20g)
- Curry leaves
- Kudam puli 20g
- Spicy chilli powder 2 tsp (6g)
- Kashmiri chilli powder 3 tsp (9g)
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp
- Coconut oil 2 1/2 tbs
- Heat up oil in a meen chatti
- Add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds
- Once the mustard begin to splutter add finely chopped ginger and garlic, slitted green chilli and curry leaves
- Stir for 2 minutes
- Add chilli powder and turmeric powder
- Stir for a few seconds and add soaked kudam puli
- Add salt and bring this to boil
- Once start to boil add fish pieces and cook for 4 minutes
- Finally add 1 tsp of coconut oil and fresh curry leaves
- Turn off the flame and serve after 30 minutes
