കോട്ടയം സ്റ്റൈൽ മീൻ കറി | മീന് മുളകിട്ടത് | മീൻ വറ്റിച്ചത് | Kottayam Style Fish Curry Recipe


 Ingredients:

  • Fish 500g
  • Ginger a big piece (20g)
  • Garlic 5 cloves (10g)
  • Green chilli 4 (20g)
  • Curry leaves
  • Kudam puli 20g
  • Spicy chilli powder 2 tsp (6g)
  • Kashmiri chilli powder 3 tsp (9g)
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Coconut oil 2 1/2 tbs
Method:
  • Heat up oil in a meen chatti
  • Add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds
  • Once the mustard begin to splutter add finely chopped ginger and garlic, slitted green chilli and curry leaves
  • Stir for 2 minutes
  • Add chilli powder and turmeric powder
  • Stir for a few seconds and add soaked kudam puli 
  • Add salt and bring this to boil
  • Once start to boil add fish pieces and cook for 4 minutes
  • Finally add 1 tsp of coconut oil and fresh curry leaves
  • Turn off the flame and serve after 30 minutes
