Ingredients:
- Prawns 250g
- Onion 1medium (80g)
- Shallots 10 (50g)
- Ginger 1 small piece (8g)
- Garlic 10 cloves 10g
- Green chilli 1 (5g)
- Chilli flakes 1.5 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Tamarind juice 1 tsp
- Heat up some coconut oil in a pan
- Add chopped onion and shallots
- Sauté until golden in color
- Add crushed ginger and garlic, green chilli and curry leaves
- Stir and cook for 2 minutes
- Add chilli flakes, turmeric powder and pepper powder
- Stir for a few seconds
- Add tamarind juice and salt as needed
- Stir well
- Add cleaned prawns and stir on high flame for 3 minutes
- Turn off the heat
- Serve after 2 minutes
