Ingredients:
- Carrot 1/2 kg (4 cups)
- Milk 2 cups (500ml)
- Sugar 1/2 cup (110g)
- Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
- Ghee 4 tbs
- Cashews 1 tbs
- Almonds 1 tbs
- Raisins 1 tbs
- Heat up 3 tbs ghee and add grated carrot
- Sauté for 8 minutes
- Add milk and cook on low medium flame until the entire milk is get evaporated
- Add sugar followed by cardamom powder
- Stir and cook for 10 - 12 minutes more
- Turn off the flame
- Heat 1 tbs ghee and fry cashews, almonds and raisins
- Add to the halwa and mix well
- Delicious carrot halwa is ready to serve
