Ingredients:
For seekh kebab:-
- Ground chicken 500g
- Salt 1tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder 1 tsp
- Pepper powder 3/4 tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Roasted cumin powder 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Ghee 1 tbs
- Mint leaves
- Coriander leaves
- Maida 300g
- Warm water 180ml
- Salt 3/4 tsp
- Sugar 2 tbs
- Instant yeast 1 tsp
- Butter 2 tbs
- Milk powder 2 tbs
To prepare kebab:-
- Chop onion, coriander leaves and mint leaves very finely
- Squeeze and remove water from onion
- Mix all the ingredients very well
- Refrigerate for 2 hours
- After 2 hours shape into kebabs on a skewer or without it
- Apply oil on a hot tawa
- Cook the kebabs on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side, until evenly browned
- Baste with ghee or oil in between
- Mix all the ingredients listed under 'to make bread dough'
- Knead for 10 minutes
- Allow it to rest for 30 minutes
- Later divide the dough into 8 equal sized pieces
- Shape them into balls
- Take each ball and roll it into oval shape
- Then roll and form a long cylinder (18cm)
- Roll it around the seekh kebab
- Transfer them to a baking tray
- Let them rest for 45 minutes
- Give egg wash and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top
- Bake at 190 degree Celsius for 20-22 minutes
- Remove from oven and allow them to cool
- Delicious kebab rolls are ready!
