ഗോതമ്പുപൊടി കൊണ്ട് പഞ്ഞി പോലെ സോഫ്റ്റ് ഹണി റോൾ | Honey Roll Recipe


Ingredients:
  • Whole wheat flour 60g (6 tbs)
  • Corn flour 20g (2 tbs)
  • Eggs 5
  • Sugar 80g
  • Milk 40 ml (2 tbs+2 tsp)
  • Oil 40ml (2 tbs+ 2tsp)
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Vinegar 10ml (2 tsp)
  • Honey
 Method:
  • Mix together wheat flour, corn flour and salt; Keep this aside
  • Separate white and yolk of eggs
  • To the white add vinegar and begin to beat
  • Once it begin to froth, add 40g of sugar in 3 batches
  • Beat the whites till it reaches stiff peak; Keep this aside
  • To the yolks, add 40g sugar and vanilla essence
  • Beat well until it become creamy
  • Add milk and oil
  • Now add flour mix and combine well
  • To this add 1/3 portion of meringue
  • Fold in gently
  • Now add this to the remaining meringue
  • Combine gently
  • Transfer this batter to a baking tray lined with baking paper
  • Spread the batter evenly
  • Bake at 180 degree Celsius till the top is golden brown
  • Take out from oven
  • Remove from tray
  • Allow this to cool for 10 minutes
  • Spread honey on it
  • Roll it
  • Cut and serve after 1 hour
