മക്കൾക്ക് കഴിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ഒരു പുതിയ ഐറ്റം | Carrot Cardamom Roll Recipe


Ingredients:
  • Carrot 1 (120g)
  • Egg 1
  • Milk 2 tbs (30g)
  • Sugar 3 tbs (45g)
  • Salt 3/4 tsp
  • Instant yeast 1 tsp
  • Ghee 2 tbs (30g)
  • Maida 325g (2 1/4 cups)
 For filling:-
  • Brown sugar 50g
  • Butter 50g
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Method:
  • Grind together carrot and milk
  • Transfer to a bowl
  • Add rest of the ingredients
  • Combine well
  • Knead the dough for 10 minutes
  • Allow to rest for 1 1/2 hours
  • Once the dough is double in size, press and degas the dough
  • Roll the dough to a rectangle shape (18"x15")
  • Apply butter on the dough sheet
  • Mix together brown sugar and cardamom
  • Spread this over the dough sheet
  • Roll this and cut into equal sized pieces (1 1/2" - 2")
  • Arrange them in a baking dish (tin size 8x8 inches)
  • Allow to rest for 35 - 40 minutes 
  • Bake at 180 degree Celsius for 28 minutes
  • Take out from oven
  • Allow to cool
  • Delicious carrot cardamom roll is ready to serve
