Ingredients:
To grind:-
- Tomato 2 (175g)
- Coriander stems
- Cashews 15
- Ginger 1 inch piece (10g)
- Garlic 10 cloves (10g)
- Kashmiri chilli powder 1.5 tbs
- Coriander powder 1 tbs
- Roasted cumin powder 1/4 tsp
- Paneer (400g)
- Onion 3 (300g)
- Garlic 10 cloves (10g)
- Green chilli 4
- Kashmiri chilli powder 1/2 tsp
- Spicy chilli powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves
- Kasoori methi 1 tsp
- Fresh cream 3-4 tbs
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
- Butter
- Salt
- Pinch of salt
- Grind together all the ingredients Listed under 'to grind'
- Heat up 2 tbs oil and 1 tbs butter in a pan
- Add cumin seeds followed by chopped onion
- Stir and cook till the onion become golden
- Add crushed garlic and green chilli
- Sauté for 2 minutes
- Add chilli powder and turmeric powder
- Stir for 1 minute
- Add ground paste and salt
- Stir and cook for 10 minutes
- Add hot water and adjust the consistency
- Add a pinch of sugar
- Add cubed paneer and stir gently
- Cook on low flame for 3 minutes
- Finally add 1/2 tbs butter, coriander leaves, kasoori methi, garam masala and fresh cream
- Combine everything well
- Serve hot with chapati, nan or porotta
