Ingredients:
To marinate:-
- Chicken 450g
- Salt 3/4tsp
- Pepper 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder 1 tsp
- Butter 1 tbs
- Garlic finely chopped 2 tbs (20g)
- Oregano 1 tsp
- Chilli flakes 1 tsp or as needed
- Chilli sauce 1 tbs
- Lemon juice 2 tsp
- Chicken stock or water 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves
- Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper and chilli powder
- Keep aside for 15 minutes
- Heat up 2 tbs oil in a pan
- Spread the chicken pieces (do not overcrowd the pan)
- Fry one side for 3 minutes
- Flip and fry the other side for 3 minutes
- Remove from pan and keep aside
- Heat up 1 tbs butter and add garlic
- Stir for 30 seconds
- Add chilli flakes and oregano
- Stir for a few seconds
- Add chilli sauce followed by chicken stock
- Boil till the stock thickened
- Add fried chicken and coriander leaves
- Cook till all the liquid is absorbed
- Serve hot
