How To Make Onion Rings At Home



Crispy Onion Rings

 An easy to make tea time snack.

 Ingredients


  •  onion 3 (slice into circles of 1/4" thickness )
  • fresh bread crumbs - 3/4 cup 
  • rice flour - 3 tbs
  • corn four - 1 tbs
  • maida - 1 tbs
  • salt as needed
  • chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • finely chopped garlic - 1/2 tsp 
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • coriander leaves for garnishing
  • oil for deep fry 

 Method

  • mix together rice flour, corn four, maida, sat, chilly powder and oregano
  • add in water as needed to make a thick batter of flowing consistency
  • take bread crumbs in a plate
  • dip each ring in the batter
  • coat the dipped rings with bread crumbs
  • arrange them in a plate
  • heat up oil and keep the flame to medium
  • fry the rings on medium flame until golden
  • drain them onto paper towel and garnish with coriander leaves and oregano
  • serve hot with your favourite dip
 Notes
  • use fresh bread crumbs for better result
  • alternativey you can bake them
