Crispy Onion Rings
An easy to make tea time snack.
Ingredients
- onion 3 (slice into circles of 1/4" thickness )
- fresh bread crumbs - 3/4 cup
- rice flour - 3 tbs
- corn four - 1 tbs
- maida - 1 tbs
- salt as needed
- chilly powder - 1 tsp
- finely chopped garlic - 1/2 tsp
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- coriander leaves for garnishing
- oil for deep fry
Method
- mix together rice flour, corn four, maida, sat, chilly powder and oregano
- add in water as needed to make a thick batter of flowing consistency
- take bread crumbs in a plate
- dip each ring in the batter
- coat the dipped rings with bread crumbs
- arrange them in a plate
- heat up oil and keep the flame to medium
- fry the rings on medium flame until golden
- drain them onto paper towel and garnish with coriander leaves and oregano
- serve hot with your favourite dip
Notes
- use fresh bread crumbs for better result
- alternativey you can bake them
