Ingredients:
Dough:-
- Maida 300g (2 cups pressed)
- Water 160 ml
- Sugar 30g (2 tbs)
- Salt 5g (3/4 tsp)
- Instant yeast 3g (1 tsp)
- Butter 30g (2 tbs )
- Milk powder 10g (1 tbs)
- Eggs 5
- Onion 1 (100g)
- Tomato 1 (75g)
- Green chilli 2 (10g)
- Pepper powder 1 tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves
- Salt
- Cumin seeds 1/8 tsp
- Prepare dough by mixing all the ingredients listed under 'dough'
- Knead the dough for 6 -7 minutes
- Allow this to rest for 1 hour
- To make filling crack eggs into a bowl
- Add salt as needed
- Beat the eggs very well and keep aside
- Heat up 2 tbs oil in a pan
- Add cumin seeds
- Add chopped onion and green chilli
- Stir and cook for 5-6 minutes
- Add tomato and salt
- Stir until tomato is very soft
- Add pepper and garam masala
- Add beaten eggs and stir well for 2 minutes
- Finally add coriander leaves and mix well
- Filling is ready, keep this aside
- After 1 hour knead the dough lightly
- Divide into 8 equal portions
- Shape them into balls
- Allow them to rest for 15 minutes
- Now roll each ball into an oval shape
- Add 2 tsp tomato sauce
- Add prepared egg filling
- Add some cheese
- Fold the sides and pinch the ends
- Give egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds
- Bake at 190 degree Celsius for 15 - 18 minutes
- Take out from oven
- Allow them to cool slightly
- Slice and enjoy
