Ingredients:
For filling:-
- Chicken 250g
- Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tsp
- Onion 1 (100g)
- Ginger 1 small piece (7g)
- Garlic 7-8 cloves (10g)
- Green chilli 4
- Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves
- Tomato sauce 1 tbs
- Cheese 1/2 cup or as needed (mozzarella & cheddar blend)
- Maida 2 cups (280g)
- Sugar 2 tbs (30g)
- Yeast 1 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Ghee 2 tbs
- Water 160ml
- Marinate chicken with salt, chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and lemon juice for 20 minutes
- Mix together all the ingredients for bread and knead for 5 minutes
- Cover the dough and rest for 45 minutes - 1 hour until double in size.
- Heat up oil in a pan and add crushed ginger, garlic and green chilli
- Stir for 2 minutes
- Add onion and stir for 5 minutes
- Add pepper, turmeric powder and garam masala
- Stir for a few seconds and add marinated chicken
- Cook on high flame for 3 minutes
- Then lower the flame
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes
- Add coriander leaves and tomato sauce
- Turn off the gas and allow this to cool completely.
- After 1 hour of rest, punch out the air from the dough
- Roll the dough to 11 inch circle
- Cut into 8 pieces
- Place the filling as needed
- Add some cheese
- Fold the ends and close it
- Arrange in a baking sheet
- Cover and rest for 30 minutes
- Give egg wash and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degree Celsius for 20-25 minutes
- Take out from oven
- Serve warm.
