കൂൺ ഇത് പോലെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയാൽ ഊണ് കുശാൽ | Mushroom Masala Recipe


Ingredients:
  • Mushrooms 200g
  • Onion 2 (200g)
  • Tomato 1 (150g)
  • Garlic 12 cloves (15g)
  • Ginger 1 piece (10g)
  • Curry leaves
  • Green chili 2 (15g)
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder 3/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1.5 tbs
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Coconut milk 1/4 cup
Method
  • Heat oil in a pan 
  • Add crushed ginger and garlic
  • Stir and cook for 1 - 2 minutes
  • Add finely chopped onions, slitted green chili and curry leaves
  • Stir and cook on medium high flame for 6 minutes until the onions turn light brown
  • Add tomato and salt
  • Cover and cook on low flame till the tomato is cooked well
  • Once the tomato become mushy add the spice powders and cook for 1 minute
  • Add cleaned mushrooms and stir on high flame for 4 minutes
  • Add 1/4 cup of hot water and cook covered on low flame for 2 minutes  
  • Open the lid and add coconut milk, garam masala, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper and coriander leaves
  • Cook for one minute more and turn off the flame
  • Serve this delicious mushroom masala with steamed rice or roti.
