ഞൊടിയിടയിൽ ഒരു നല്ല പരിപ്പ് കറി | Parippu Curry Kerala Style


Ingredients
  • Toor dal 3/4 cup (150g)
  • Onion 1/2 of 1
  • Green chilli 1
  • Tomato 1 small
  • Shallots 4 (20g)
  • Garlic 8 cloves (10g)
  • Curry leaves 2 sprig
  • Chilli flakes 3/4 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Water 1.5 cups
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Coconut oil 2 tablespoon
 Method
  • Cook the rinsed dal along with onion, tomato, green chilli, salt and water in a pressure cooker
  • Crush the shallots and garlic
  • Heat up oil in a pan and add crushed shallots, garlic and curry leaves
  • Fry them until slightly brown in color
  • Add chilli flakes and turmeric powder
  • Stir for  few seconds
  • Add cooked dal and combine well.
  • Serve hot with rice or chapati
