ദോശക്കും ഇഡ്ഡലിക്കും തേങ്ങാ ചമ്മന്തി ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന വിധം | Idli Chutney Recipe | Dosa Chutney recipe


Ingredients:
  • Grated coconut 1 cup
  • Spicy red chilli 5
  • Shallots 5
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Tamarind a small piece
For tempering:
  • Coconut oil
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Dried red chilli 2
  • Curry leaves
Method:
  • Heat up oil in a pan
  • Add shallots and stir and cook until the colour changes to light golden
  • Add garlic and stir for 1 minute
  • Add red chillies and stir for a few seconds
  • Remove from oil
  • Grind these along with coconut, tamarind, salt and water
  • Heat up the same oil and crack the mustard seeds
  • To this add red chillies and curry leaves
  • Add the ground chutney to this
  • Add water to adjust consistency
  • Stir and cook this until hot; Do not allow to boil
  • Serve this along with dosa or idli
