Ingredients:
- Whole wheat flour 300g
- Maida 300g
- Milk 180g
- Water 195g
- Sugar 60g
- Salt 1 1/2 tsp
- Instant dry yeast 1 tsp
- Milk powder 1 tbs (10g)
- Soft butter 60g
- Mix together whole wheat flour, maida and milk powder and keep aside
- To a large mixing bowl add milk, water, sugar, yeast, salt and butter
- To this wet mix add the flour mix
- Combine everything well and give a ball shape to this
- Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes
- After 30 minutes, knead the dough lightly and make it smooth
- Cover and keep aside until the dough becomes double in size
- When it is ready, knead again to expel the air
- Divide into 2 equal portions and shape into balls
- Take one dough ball and roll out to a rectangle
- Roll it from one end to form a log and pinch the edge
- Transfer this to a bread tin and keep aside for 30 - 45 minutes
- Do the same with the other dough ball as well
- After 45 minutes bake at 190 degree Celsius for 32 minutes or the internal temperature becomes 92 degree Celsius
- Take out from oven and remove from the tin
- Allow this to cool down completely
- When it is cool slice and enjoy
