Ingredients:
- Whole wheat flour 1 cup (150g)
- Maida 1 cup (150g)
- Milk 170ml (3/4 cup)
- Instant yeast 1 tsp (4g)
- Sugar 2 tbs (30g)
- Butter/Ghee 3 tbs (45g)
- Salt 3/4 tsp (5g)
- Egg 1 (50g)
- Mix together all the ingredients
- Combine well
- Knead for 10-15 minutes
- At the end of kneading rub the dough with some ghee or butter and make a ball
- Cover the bowl and keep aside till the dough become double in size
- It may take 1 1/2 hours- 2 hours
- Now deflate the dough and divide into 10 equal parts
- Shape into smooth balls and arrange in a baking tray lined with baking sheet
- Let the balls rise for 30 minutes
- Now bake in a preheated oven at 190 degree Celsius for 18-20 minutes
- Take out from the oven and brush them with butter
- Allow them to cool down to room temperature
- Delicious soft buns are ready to serve
