Ingredients:
- Bottle gourd 400g
- Onion 1 (100g)
- Tomato 1(100g)
- Green chilly 3
- Curry leaves
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds a pinch
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- Heat up 2 tbs oil in a pan
- Crack mustard and cumin
- Add chopped onion and stir for 3 minutes
- Add slitted green chilly and curry leaves
- Stir for 1 minute
- Add chopped tomato and cook till very soft
- Add chilly powder and turmeric powder
- Stir for a few seconds
- Add chopped bottle gourd and salt as needed
- Stir well and cook covered till very soft
- Serve with rice
