Ingredients
To marinate
- Chicken 250g
- Chilli powder 3/4 tsp
- Coriander powder 1tsp
- Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Salt 3/4 tsp
- Whole wheat flour 300g (2 cups +1.5 tbs)
- Water 225ml
- Salt 3/4 tsp
- Sugar 1 tbs
- Ghee 1 tbs
- Instant yeast 1 tsp
- Pizza sauce
- Onion 1 chopped
- Capsicum 1 chopped
- Coriander stem
- Olive rings
- Cheese
- Oregano
- Chilli flakes
- Prepare dough by adding together all the ingredients listed under "for the dough"
- Knead for 15 minutes
- Apply some ghee on the top of the dough
- Cover and let the dough to ferment until double in size (45 min. - 1 hour)
- While the dough is resting, marinate the chicken with all the ingredients listed under "to marinate"
- Let this sit for 20 minutes
- Heat up some oil in a pan
- Add the chicken pieces
- Cook on high flame for 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously
- After 4 minutes, reduce the flame to low
- Cover and cook for 3 minutes more
- Turn off the heat and allow the chicken to cool down
- After 1 hour of fermentation, gently press down the dough to remove the air
- Transfer on to a floured surface and roll out to a rectangle shape
- Apply pizza sauce , then spread the cooked chicken pieces at the centre
- Spread capsicum, onion, coriander stem, oregano, chilli flake, olive rings and the cheese over the chicken
- Fold from the sides to cover the filling
- Cut into 6 pieces
- Transfer to a baking tray
- Allow these to rest for 20 minutes
- After 20 minutes, give egg wash
- Sprinkle some cheese, oregano, chilli flakes and olive ring
- Bake at 190 degree Celsius for 18-20 minutes
- Take out from the oven
- Serve hot
